About

"Maugel DeStefano Architects and F.W. Madigan are collaborating on the adaptive reuse of the historic Worcester Boys Club into the Residences on Lincoln Square. Undertaken by WinnDevelopment, a Boston-based real estate developer, the building and property is being converted into 80 affordable apartment homes for adults aged 55 and above.

The scope includes the preservation and renovation of the 94-year-old building into 16 apartments and a variety of community spaces, while erecting a new five-story apartment building alongside it to house 64 new apartments. The two buildings will be connected on the ground floor by a single-story glass walkway.

Of the 80 total apartments associated with this development, 12 units will be restricted to residents earning 30% or less of the area median income and the remaining 62 will be for those earning up to 60% of the area median income. Eleven units will be fully accessible for persons with physical disabilities."
