In 1992 Petersen Engineering Inc. was founded to advance sustainability, occupant health and comfort, resiliency, and affordability in the built environment. We are a mission-driven engineering firm, with a holistic, forward thinking approach to enabling our clients to create high-performance, sustainable projects. For 30 years, we have focused on designing HVAC, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems for buildings of increasing size and complexity, developing expertise in various high-performance building standards such as LEED, net zero, and Passive House. Our staff – 35 and growing – are known for being collaborative, progressive, friendly and honest, with can-do attitudes and a thirst for learning.
