About

This project phase will create 116 units of much-needed affordable housing in Worcester. The development will consist of two new buildings: a six-story building (see Building A) with approximately 78,000 square feet and 68 units, and a four-story building (Building B) with approximately 52,000 square feet and 48 units. Ten percent of the total units will be designed to be handicapped accessible.

The project prioritizes sustainability and energy efficiency, adhering to Passive House standards. The buildings will be all-electric, using electricity for water heating, hot water, and mechanical systems. Rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels will generate on-site renewable energy, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be provided. Energy Star certified fixtures and appliances will be installed throughout the development.
