About
"The new six-story building that replaces the previous Colonel Floyd development meets the most stringent sustainability goals and utilizes universal design principles that promote aging-in-place for its senior and disabled residents. Located in Brookline’s lively Coolidge Corner, the development is near public transportation, grocery stores, restaurants and other neighborhood conveniences.
Residents of the new building will enjoy ample outdoor amenities and a sunny courtyard as well as access to on-site services, including common spaces, a fitness room, library, and nurses’ offices, all on the ground and first floors.
32 Marion Street is Phius 2021 Design Certified, and the project’s all-electric, energy-efficient systems provide thermal comfort and controlled access to natural light and fresh air. These healthy, resilient and safe systems have been designed to meet or exceed sustainability goals specifically with seniors in mind."
