About

Olympia Place is a privately developed five-story, 98,000 SF wood construction (Type III) residential building composed of 73 apartments of mixed unit types. Located on a site adjacent to the UMass, it has been designed in a transitional zone between the campus and residential neighborhoods. Programmatically, the building is tailored to the college town market, offering study rooms, communal work tables, a café, a fitness center, ample bike storage and parking for a car share vehicles. Holst Architecture was the Design Architect, while DiMella Shaffer was the Architect-of-Record.
