The William E. Carter School is a small but unique Boston public school serving students with distinct developmental and medical challenges. At its heart, the project embraces the belief that every student deserves an educational environment that empowers them to communicate and engage with the world, regardless of their limitations. The 3-story steel-framed building has outdoor learning spaces and an all-electric utilities system with a generator for medical needs, elevators, and essential life safety systems.
