About

As with all new Carleton buildings, environmental impact is paramount here, with key features including rooftop solar panels, triple-pane glass, and high-efficiency insulation.

Sustainably designed to LEED Platinum standards, the fully accessible facility includes six exam rooms and 12 counseling offices; spaces for waiting, group counseling, and meditation; rooms for alternative therapy and relaxation; and spots for student telehealth sessions. The building also serves other support systems, with the flexibility to change over time as needs and priorities evolve. It is sound-proofed for privacy and 75% of spaces have access to natural daylight.
