About

Completed in 2017, the building defines a new academic precinct on the Boston campus, utilizing a striking, flowing architectural form centered around a sunlit atrium that connects offices, classrooms, and cutting-edge laboratory spaces. Driven by aggressive environmental performance goals, ISEC incorporates a high-performance curtain wall wrapped in a curved bronze "solar veil" for passive shading, alongside a cascade ventilation system that recycles office air into lab zones
