The new Coakley Middle School serves 1,070 students and will transition from the current 6-8 grade structure to a 5-8 school model. The building layout and configuration is organized to address optimal orientation of learning spaces to maximize energy efficiency and daylight, creating one of the most integrated academic neighborhood designs.
