About
Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) proposes to build a 78-unit affordable senior housing community in partnership with the BHA/HUD through the Restore Rebuild program. The project will be located at the corner of Centre Street and Walter Street in Roslindale on a site owned and operated by HSL. The proposed development will repurpose an existing parking lot, comprising 0.78 acres of the 9.4-acre site. The proposed 6-story building will include 78 deeply affordable senior housing units, composed of seventy-four one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units. There will be shared amenity spaces that include staff offices, a multi-purpose room, a wellness room, a reception area/lobby, mail and package rooms, a library, a bike storage room, and a fitness room.
