Ethan is an Associate and Sustainable Design Analyst at SMMA. He is an expert in energy modeling, lifecycle cost analysis, and carbon reduction. He is well versed in energy codes such as ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, and MA Stretch Code, and fluent with eQuest, OpenStudio, Climate Studio, WUFI, and Therm.
I'm an avid environmentalist with a passion for energy efficiency. I work to reduce energy demand and consumption in new construction and add/reno projects. Most of my work has been in the K-12, corporate/commercial, and life science sectors, with some exposure to higher education and industrial projects.
In my free time I enjoy fishing, tying flies, playing chess, hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
