About
I'm inspired by architecture in both form and function - how the built environment can evoke emotion and foster interpersonal relationships; can serve the local community and bring people together; and can create positive environmental change through regenerative design.
As Director of Sustainability, Elizabeth oversees Shawmut's sustainability program and company initiatives. Elizabeth serves as a resource to clients and internal teams, helping to drive sustainability and resiliency on projects. Elizabeth earned her M.S. in Sustainable Building Systems from the Northeastern University College of Engineering, and B.A. in Architecture from Wellesley College. She is a Certified Passive House Builder (CPHB) through PHIUS and holds a Living Future Accreditation (LFA) through the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). Elizabeth is a member of the AGC MA Sustainability Advisory Committee, the SCSU Sustainability Advisory Council, and the DCX Sustainability Exchange.
